Minutes

The Bancroft County Public Health Board of Trustees met at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room of the Community Services Building, Adams Junction. Chair Rao called the meeting to order.

Present: Trustees Rao, Kellerman, Benitez, Hoyt, and Mehta. Also present: Public Health Director Dr. Lena Foss and Community Health Nurse Supervisor Karen Whitfield, RN.

Motion by Kellerman, seconded by Benitez, to approve the July 17, 2025 minutes. Carried 5–0.

Director Foss opened FY2027 budget planning, noting continued uncertainty in state and federal grant funding, particularly for maternal health and mental health programming, and recommending the department budget conservatively pending more clarity.

With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:25 p.m.. Next meeting: as scheduled.
