Minutes

The Bancroft County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. in the Supervisors' Room of the courthouse. Chair Ostergaard called the meeting to order.

Present: Supervisors Ostergaard, Whitmore, and Cabrera. Also present: County Auditor Gene Prewitt, recording.

Minutes of June 16, 2026 and claims of $42,749.49 were approved, 3–0 (Cabrera/Whitmore).

The Board reaffirmed Resolution 2025-17 regarding federal payment of special district fees, noting the issue remains part of ISAC's ongoing legislative agenda.

Coordinator Sowards reported the part-time paid EMT position funded by the January EMS levy has been filled and begins service July 1, restoring reliable 24-hour ambulance coverage to the Hartsboro area.

No public comment.

Motion by Whitmore, seconded by Cabrera, to adjourn. Motion carried 3–0. Meeting adjourned at 10:56 a.m..
