Minutes

The Bancroft County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. in the Supervisors' Room of the courthouse. Chair Ostergaard called the meeting to order.

Present: Supervisors Ostergaard, Whitmore, and Cabrera. Also present: County Auditor Gene Prewitt, recording.

Minutes of May 12, 2026 and claims of $142,933.33 were approved, 3–0 (Whitmore/Cabrera).

Assessor Brady briefed the Board on new property assessment classifications and homestead relief provisions required under SF 2472, and on the added workload the changes will place on the Assessor's office ahead of the 2027 assessment cycle. The Board authorized Brady to request temporary clerical assistance in the FY2028 budget.

No public comment.

Motion by Cabrera, seconded by Whitmore, to adjourn. Motion carried 3–0. Meeting adjourned at 10:51 a.m..
