Minutes

The Bancroft County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. in the Supervisors' Room of the courthouse. Chair Ostergaard called the meeting to order.

Present: Supervisors Ostergaard, Whitmore, and Cabrera. Also present: County Auditor Gene Prewitt, recording.

Minutes of April 21, 2026 and claims of $113,172.72 were approved, 3–0 (Cabrera/Whitmore).

County Engineer Vandenberg updated the Board on the 180th Street bridge repair near Rowley Falls. Motion by Whitmore, seconded by Cabrera, to proceed as recommended. Carried 3–0.

The Board received a GIS/IT infrastructure update from the county's contract IT provider.

Auditor Prewitt reported the property tax bill remains in final negotiations as the legislature works toward adjournment.

No public comment.

Motion by Whitmore, seconded by Cabrera, to adjourn. Motion carried 3–0. Meeting adjourned at 10:00 a.m..
