Minutes

The Bancroft County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. in the Supervisors' Room of the courthouse. Chair Ostergaard called the meeting to order.

Present: Supervisors Ostergaard, Whitmore, and Cabrera. Also present: County Auditor Gene Prewitt, recording.

Minutes of March 31, 2026 and claims of $113,109.09 were approved, 3–0 (Whitmore/Cabrera).

Motion by Whitmore, seconded by Cabrera, to set April 21, 2026 at 9:15 a.m. as the date and time for a public hearing on the proposed FY2027 budget, prepared under current law with a contingency note addressing the pending levy cap legislation. Carried 3–0.

No public comment.

Motion by Cabrera, seconded by Whitmore, to adjourn. Motion carried 3–0. Meeting adjourned at 9:09 a.m..
