Minutes

The Bancroft County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. in the Supervisors' Room of the courthouse. Chair Ostergaard called the meeting to order.

Present: Supervisors Ostergaard, Whitmore, and Cabrera. Also present: County Auditor Gene Prewitt, recording.

Minutes of March 24, 2026 and claims of $83,405.05 were approved, 3–0 (Cabrera/Whitmore).

County Engineer Vandenberg updated the Board on renewal of the snow-and-ice removal contract. Motion by Whitmore, seconded by Cabrera, to proceed as recommended. Carried 3–0.

The Board received Sheriff Ballard's monthly report.

Auditor Prewitt reported the levy cap bill is expected to see floor action in the coming weeks as the session nears its scheduled adjournment.

No public comment.

Motion by Whitmore, seconded by Cabrera, to adjourn. Motion carried 3–0. Meeting adjourned at 9:32 a.m..
