Minutes

The Bancroft County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. in the Supervisors' Room of the courthouse. Chair Ostergaard called the meeting to order.

Present: Supervisors Ostergaard, Whitmore, and Cabrera. Also present: County Auditor Gene Prewitt, recording.

Minutes of March 17, 2026 and claims of $83,377.77 were approved, 3–0 (Whitmore/Cabrera).

County Engineer Vandenberg updated the Board on the striping contract for county paved roads. Motion by Cabrera, seconded by Whitmore, to proceed as recommended. Carried 3–0.

The Board received renewal of the 28E dispatch-services agreement with the City of Adams Junction.

Auditor Prewitt gave a brief statehouse update: the levy cap bill has not yet been scheduled for a floor vote.

No public comment.

Motion by Cabrera, seconded by Whitmore, to adjourn. Motion carried 3–0. Meeting adjourned at 9:55 a.m..
