Minutes

The Bancroft County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. in the Supervisors' Room of the courthouse. Chair Ostergaard called the meeting to order.

Present: Supervisors Ostergaard, Whitmore, and Cabrera. Also present: County Auditor Gene Prewitt, recording.

Minutes of March 3, 2026 and claims of $83,342.42 were approved, 3–0 (Whitmore/Cabrera).

County Engineer Vandenberg updated the Board on guardrail replacement on County Road D26. Motion by Cabrera, seconded by Whitmore, to proceed as recommended. Carried 3–0.

The Board received the courthouse HVAC maintenance contract.

Auditor Prewitt reported the levy cap bill remains pending; ISAC continues to advocate for a workable transition period for counties.

No public comment.

Motion by Cabrera, seconded by Whitmore, to adjourn. Motion carried 3–0. Meeting adjourned at 10:41 a.m..
