Minutes

The Bancroft County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. in the Supervisors' Room of the courthouse. Chair Ostergaard called the meeting to order.

Present: Supervisors Ostergaard, Whitmore, and Cabrera. Also present: County Auditor Gene Prewitt, recording.

Minutes of February 17, 2026 and claims of $53,586.86 were approved, 3–0 (Whitmore/Cabrera).

County Engineer Vandenberg updated the Board on reseal of the courthouse parking lot. Motion by Cabrera, seconded by Whitmore, to proceed as recommended. Carried 3–0.

The Board received reappointment of a member to the county Board of Health.

Auditor Prewitt reported the property tax levy cap bill remains under negotiation between the House and Senate, with no new developments this week.

No public comment.

Motion by Cabrera, seconded by Whitmore, to adjourn. Motion carried 3–0. Meeting adjourned at 10:27 a.m..
