Minutes

The Bancroft County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. in the Supervisors' Room of the courthouse. Chair Ostergaard called the meeting to order.

Present: Supervisors Ostergaard, Whitmore, and Cabrera. Also present: County Auditor Gene Prewitt, recording.

Minutes of February 10, 2026 and claims of $53,558.58 were approved, 3–0 (Cabrera/Whitmore).

Chair Ostergaard recapped a call with ISAC's registered lobbyist, who reported the levy cap bill is being negotiated in conference between the House and Senate, with a 2% general levy growth cap and separate caps for hospital and emergency management levies among the terms under discussion.

No public comment.

Motion by Whitmore, seconded by Cabrera, to adjourn. Motion carried 3–0. Meeting adjourned at 9:50 a.m..
