Minutes

The Bancroft County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. in the Supervisors' Room of the courthouse. Chair Ostergaard called the meeting to order.

Present: Supervisors Ostergaard, Whitmore, and Cabrera. Also present: County Auditor Gene Prewitt, recording.

Minutes of November 11, 2025 and claims of $43,608.08 were approved, 3–0 (Whitmore/Cabrera).

Motion by Whitmore, seconded by Cabrera, to adopt Resolution 2025-17, joining other Iowa counties in urging the federal government to pay its fair share of drainage and special district fees on federally owned land within county boundaries, consistent with ISAC's 2026 legislative priorities. Carried 3–0.

No public comment.

Motion by Cabrera, seconded by Whitmore, to adjourn. Motion carried 3–0. Meeting adjourned at 9:49 a.m..
