Minutes

The Bancroft County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. in the Supervisors' Room of the courthouse. Chair Ostergaard called the meeting to order.

Present: Supervisors Ostergaard, Whitmore, and Cabrera. Also present: County Auditor Gene Prewitt, recording.

Minutes of February 25, 2025 and claims of $89,634.34 were approved, 3–0 (Cabrera/Whitmore).

Auditor Prewitt presented the FY2026 budget calendar, setting department budget requests due March 21 and the public hearing tentatively for April 1.

Emergency Management Coordinator Rick Sowards gave an overview of rising costs for the county's contracted ambulance service and asked departments to plan for a possible funding request later this spring.

No public comment.

Motion by Whitmore, seconded by Cabrera, to adjourn. Motion carried 3–0. Meeting adjourned at 9:00 a.m..
